I just made this Easy Barbecue Chicken last night and the only downside is that I didn’t make enough to ensure leftovers for today’s lunch. Seriously, it was that good – my husband and I just devoured it. As visitors know, I’m all about preparing dinner in less than 10 minutes and this recipe was more like less than 5 minutes. Such a win! The ingredients and directions (and before/after pictures!) are provided below, and be sure to follow me on Pinterest for more yummy recipes.
Ingredients: 4 or 5 chicken breasts (I used thinly sliced); 1 red chopped onion; your favorite barbecue sauce; and 1 or 2 cups shredded cheese
- Spray glass baking dish with nonstick spray and arrange the chicken in a single layer
- Spread barbecue sauce on the top of each chicken breast (I shook it out of the bottle and then spread with a spoon)
- Sprinkle the onions on top and then finish with the cheese
- Bake in a 350′ degree oven for about 40-50 minutes
Before and After: Enjoy!
